PhotoDateFixer is designed to work on your device. We do not collect, upload, sell, rent, or share your personal data.
This Privacy Policy explains how PhotoDateFixer handles information when you use the PhotoDateFixer iOS app. The app helps you select photos and videos, import media from folders, and adjust the dates saved with those items in your Apple Photos library.
We do not collect personal information from the app. The app does not create an account, does not operate a developer-controlled server, does not include advertising SDKs, and does not include third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
Photos, videos, file names, folders, dates, and other media metadata that you view or modify in the app remain on your device and in services that you already use with Apple, such as iCloud Photos if enabled on your device. We do not receive copies of your photos, videos, folders, or metadata.
PhotoDateFixer requests access to your photo library so you can choose media and apply date changes. Depending on the feature you use, the app may read selected photo or video thumbnails, preview selected media, add imported media to your library, or update the creation date of selected library items.
These actions are performed through Apple's Photos framework on your device. You can control or revoke photo library access at any time in the iOS Settings app.
If you choose a folder for import, PhotoDateFixer reads the selected folder and its subfolders to find supported image and video files. The app uses this access only to display file counts, sort the selected files, and save the chosen media into your photo library.
Information available to the app is used only to provide app functionality, including:
We do not share your personal data with advertisers, analytics providers, data brokers, or other third parties. We do not use your data for tracking across apps or websites.
PhotoDateFixer uses Apple system frameworks, including Photos and the iOS document picker. If you use iCloud Photos or other Apple services, Apple may process your media according to Apple's own privacy policies and your device settings. We are not responsible for data handled by Apple outside of PhotoDateFixer.
PhotoDateFixer is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because PhotoDateFixer does not collect or store your personal data on developer-controlled servers, there is no developer-operated account or cloud database containing your app data. You should still protect your device, Apple ID, iCloud account, and photo library using the security options provided by Apple.
You can manage PhotoDateFixer's access to your photo library in iOS Settings. You can also choose which folders to make available through the system document picker. The app only accesses folders that you select.
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app's features or privacy practices change. The updated policy will be posted with a new "Last updated" date.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, contact the developer through the support contact or support URL listed on PhotoDateFixer's App Store product page.
